The Gordius family welcomes you to spend your family vacation of a lifetime with them in the quaint fishing village of Bass Harbor, on the quiet side of Mt. Desert Island.
We are located on Route 102A, just minutes to the Historic Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse and surrounded by Windswept Acadia National Park. Enjoy our rugged mountains and woodland trails, deep thick forests and beautiful plush gardens.Listen, enjoy and play in the pounding surf of the great Atlantic Ocean as it crashes against our islands rocky shorelines.Acadia National Park and world famous Cadillac Mountain has lots to offer the hiker, naturalist, birdwatcher, artist, and nature lovers of all kinds. Take the loop road drive, surrounding the park and spend a full day to tour and view the best views of the mountains and the islands on the East Coast.

Our family cottage is equipped to fully accommodate up to FOUR guests comfortably and is priced accordingly. Please discuss with us if your family is bigger than FOUR people.
Large spacious fully equipped kitchen, complete with all utensils,appliances, cooking tools, pots and pans, silverware and even a microwave for those city folk....just bring the food and beverages!
Two spacious bedrooms with one queen size and two single beds. All linens and pillows are supplied.
Modern bathroom and shower for your pleasure after a long enjoyable day on the ocean or the trails.
Fully furnished living room includes television & VCR, with cable. Kick back on the soft fluffy sofa and gaze out your glass patio doors at the setting sun. This room and door leads out to your private yard, complete with picnic table, lawn chairs,and gas grill.
We are currently accepting RESERVATIONS on a WEEKLY basis ONLY!
Cottage is NON-SMOKING only and we cannot allow pets on the property.

July - $750 Weekly
August - $800 Weekly
September - $700 Weekly
October - $650 Weekly
Above rates do not include 7% Maine Lodging Tax
Reservations are accepted on a first come basis and 1/2 of your total reservation is required to book your stay. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE, for ANY reason,and balance of reservation is due upon check in. Check out time is 10am. Check in time is 3pm.
